Per Tennessee state law, I do not tattoo minors, regardless of parental consent.
Clients must be 17 or older to schedule a consultation, and clients who are minors at the time of their consult will be scheduled for a tattoo appointment after they turn 18.
I am able to accept most state or government-issued photo identification, provided it is an original document and unexpired. Examples of commonly used documents include
I cannot accept military or student IDs.
Clients with diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, vascular diseases, arterial diseases, or autoimmune diseases may experience a longer than average healing period.
I do not tattoo clients taking acne medication, antibiotics, blood thinners, or immunosuppressants. I also do not tattoo clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
I recommend that clients speak with their doctor to determine if tattoos are a good choice for them, and I ask that clients disclose certain medications and medical conditions for safety.
I offer tattoos on an appointment-only basis at this time and am currently booking for the summer of 2023. Consultations for new work can be scheduled here.
While I do have some pre-drawn designs available, I am primarily a full-custom artist. Each piece is drawn for the individual client, and though I welcome photo references for communication purposes, I do not copy other artists' work under any circumstances.

Absolutely. I strongly recommend a consultation to review the existing tattoo or scarring and discuss what would work best for that piece and area when considering a rework or cover-up.
The final price of a tattoo largely depends on its size, location, and level of detail. I price by the piece and provide clients with an estimate during our initial consultation.
A minimum $100 deposit is required to schedule an appointment. Larger tattoo projects may require a larger deposit, to a maximum of $300. This deposit is non-refundable/non-transferable and counts as payment toward the final tattoo session. Canceling or rescheduling an appointment with less than 24-hours' notice may result in the loss of deposit; in this event, another deposit will need to be left before another session can be scheduled.
I prepare tattoo designs in order of scheduled appointments. There is extra time at the beginning of the first tattoo session to review the tattoo design and make minor changes if necessary. I do not email designs to clients but can schedule a secondary consult to review the design before the first tattoo session upon request.
I ask for a minimum of 24-hours' notice to reschedule an appointment, but I appreciate as much notice as can be given. Failure to provide a 24-hours' notice may result in a loss of deposit.
You can reschedule an appointment by call, text, or email. Unlike tattoo appointments, consultations may be rescheduled online through your consultation confirmation email within 48 hours of your scheduled time.
Canceling an appointment outright without intent to reschedule will result in a loss of deposit, as deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Tattoos tend to cause some level of discomfort, but how much a tattoo will hurt will be heavily influenced by the location of the tattoo and a client's individual pain tolerance.
Numbing products, such as Anesten, BLT Cream, Dr. Numb, and others, can be used to ease some of the pain experienced during a tattoo. These are available over the counter at most drugstores and online. Please note that these must be used several hours in advance and may not last the full length of your tattoo. If you are considering using a numbing cream for your tattoo, let me know during our consultation so we can discuss what works best for you.

Clients are allowed one guest aged 17 or older. Minors younger than 17 are not permitted in the tattoo booth and are not allowed unattended in the lobby at any time.
Make sure to rest well the night before your appointment. It is also important to hydrate and eat well beforehand. Wear comfortable clothes that allow easy access to the desired tattoo location. If you intend to numb for your tattoo, make sure you've spoken with me about product choice, then follow the numbing instructions here.
Clients under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of their appointment will be rescheduled to another appointment time and may risk the loss of deposit as they would in the event of a cancelation with less than 24 hours' notice.
Smoking, dipping, and vaping are not permitted in the studio at any time but are allowed in the designated outdoor smoking area.
For information on the healing period and taking care of your tattoo, please see the aftercare section here.
I offer one free touch-up within a year of getting your tattoo. Touch-ups needed to repair a tattoo at a client's neglect will be done at the client's expense. I will touch-up other artists' work upon request, but I strongly recommend seeking out the original artist for a touch-up when possible.
My primary focus is tattooing, but I will accept commissions outside of tattoo work on occasion, depending on my tattoo workload. If you are interested in commissioning work, please reach out to me through email.
